The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Table

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a wide array of personalities, and a thrilling plot featuring angels, demons, and dark forces growing in strength within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the latest installment of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

Episode 3 ended with a dramatic pause and revealed the premier party of characters who will separate from the main group to embark on their separate journey, apart from the remaining groups.

The combat-focused team includes the determined fighter (brought to life by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie).

The Reason for Division

Given 13 cast members, it was clear from the start that maintaining everyone at one table would be unworkable.

This explains, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Overture, weaving together the personal journeys before dividing into three smaller tables: Fighters, Strategists, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Warrior Group

According to the DM, the combat-focused party is for participants who are drawn to a traditionally charged battle-oriented gameplay experience where non-violent answers are scarce.

Initially, figures such as the hesitant healer the cleric might appear mismatched, but the events of the latest installment make it clear why these five characters are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the group knows exactly where to proceed after a intense initial meeting with the antagonists.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose death started the campaign’s events—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his own means, breaking into the secret base, striking Thimble, and swiping all the powerful objects to auction.

The traitor then paid off his liabilities and escaped to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, above the city, with Teor’s brother close behind.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each member has a specific drive to leave the city the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, wants revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in the northern area and warns that it is a hostile location.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to kill the target and instead saved him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their reputation as prominent individuals in the influential clan could enable the team reach places they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, The grateful character vowed a life debt to The savior for his rescue and will now accompany him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

Lastly, all of them are sought by the powers that rule the city for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The rogue and The character are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and The healer defied House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the clan.

This results in them few options but to head to Timmony in search of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

Based on episode three’s follow-up content, we find out that the warrior group will be absent the following episode, leaving the rest of the players to round up the Questers and Strategists parties.

Fans can look forward to finding out which characters will be in which group in the story’s last Overture episode, streaming live on the upcoming Thursday.
